More of the same in Cleveland? ...the series looks over to me, even if Cleveland swept San Antonio it would be an uphill battle....

Will this even become a series ,will the Cavs win 2/3 in Cleveland?

San Antonio all smiles after the first two finals games.

Great pic, that sums up this series perfectly so far.

I personally think Cleveland will win game 3, if so game 4 will be the biggest game of the series.

I don't see Cleveland making a dent, not even at home. SA almost seemed bored and disinterested the entire 4th qurter, and still covered pretty easily.

I'm expecting them to be even more focused away.

yea, he has a point guys, clearly they are the MUCH MUCH MUCH better team in all aspects of the game, what makes you think cleavland is going to win at home! i think spurs win game 3 again, and 4 will be a lcose call

Cle has no chance. Detroit is a fading team and much, much, much worse team than SA. SA has two guys that no one on cleveland can guard, Detroit had none. SA is better in literally every aspect of the game than Detroit. Offensively, defensively, rebounding, transition game, more balanced offensively, better shooting, better coached. no comparison.

Spurs in 5

You really think Clev can take a game?

If they do, i'd imagine it would be game 4. Can't see them pulling anything off in the first game at home. Not with the Spurs so pumped, and the Spurs knowing they kinda let up too much at the end of Game 2.

I figure the Spurs will be out to humiliate the Cavs in game 3. Break their spirits at home.

Then, maybe, the Cavs can get themselves together for 1 good showing, beofre coming back to SA to lose it all.

But i wouldn't bank on it. I really can't see them even covering more than maybe 1 game out of 4, much less outright winning one.

Yeah, I just figured that I would give them the benefit of the doubt since they outscored the Spurs by 16 points in the 4th quarter of Game 2. Kind of a mini confidence booster and plus the home crowd should be nuts and ready to go. When it comes down to it and all is said and done, really wouldn't be surprised to see the sweep. Cavs just outclassed all the way around in all facets.

I really think the Pistons are getting a bad wrap by the public for dropping 4 straight to a decent, but not great Cleveland team.

Basically, the responsible party is the Detroit coaching staff and not the players themselves. They are a talented group, but Flip Saunders did not make adjustments, didn't have his team prepared and was completely outcoached.

It is his job to make sure those things don't happen and every year, despite having decent regular seasons, his teams always come up small in the post-season. He is just not that great of a leader in my opinion and some players on the team don't even like him or respect him.

Highly surprised to see Joe Dumars back him with a boost of confidence in saying Flip is his guy at the press conference today. I think they wil re-sign Billups to a long term and have mostly everyone back. Billups, Hamilton, Prince and Wallace will be starting, but Im not sure what they plan on doing with Webber.

They will probably try to unload Nazr Mohammed, Ron Dupree, possibly Will Blalock and maybe Flip Murray. Look for Amir Johnson to get involved in the rotation next season as they guy is a gifted, talented player that just needs some summer league to polish his game.

I would like to see them get rid of Delfino, Blalock, Dupree, Mohammed, Murray, and Flip Saunders. Get some fresh reserves in there that are capable of at least holding a lead and a new leader.

Not sure what anyones contract situation is as that will have a lot to do with who gets told to clean out their locker.

Returning Starters:
G- Chauncey Billups
G- Rip Hamilton
F- Tayshaun Prince
F/C- Rasheed Wallace
F/C- TBD

Reserves:
F/C- Dale Davis
F/G- Carlos Delfino
G- Lindsey Hunter
F- Jason Maxiell
F- Amir Johnson
F- Antonio McDyess

TBD:
F/C- Chris Webber

That is still a solid group and under the right leadership of a good head coach would be the favorites IMO to win the East next year. Not sure that will happen now though as Flip Saunders is not getting fired.

The only way Clev wins this series is if SA fires Popavich before game 3 and hires Flip Saunders

1. Like to see Cleve win the next one an try to put a little pressure on the Spurs. It is not over but cavs in DEEP trouble.

2. Cleveland needs another all star to play next to James.

Look for the NBA to trot out its "favorite" refs, James to shoot about 25 free throws and Bowen and Ginobili to see early foul trouble. Say what you want about the conspiracy theorists, but the NBA has a way of making sure they get as much money out of a series as possible. Dick Bavetta will surely be involved in game 3 or 4.

I was kinda of hoping Duncan , Parker and Giniboli would collide heads while all diving for a loose ball ....
