This I know they have one of the best pitching staffs in baseball.Pretty good hitting team too.Should win today, down a run.

They're just a bit above average at this point. They're out of their element right now, too: They're in an UNDER park, they're on the West Coast, and they're in a mini-slump at the plate. They've been facing some good pitching with Clemens, Oswalt and Peavy recently. They have good timely hitting, and they'll give you roughly 4-7 runs everytime out and rest the game on their pitching.

Their power numbers are down, partly because of Mike Lowell starting off the year in a huge slump. He's a very smart and good hitter over his career so he will tear it up eventually. The 10+ outputs are rare, so unders are nice to bet on the Marlins considering their staff.
