You're right about them being bad lines, but for the opposite reason. Penn St should be -8.5 at most on the road @ Purdue, and Mizzou should be -9 probably. Neither should be double digit road favs in conference against decent teams.
I'm not sold on either one being a top 10 team. One of these two will likely lose SU this week.
Usually when something looks too good to be true, it is...obviously vegas knows or sees something we don't...being a season ticket holder and donor, i personally think neb gets rolled this weekend and I was shocked at the line, especially after being at the game vs. va tech.
But, usually when vegas does something like this, there is a reason.

Think Iowa +9, 9.5 is a little ridiculous. Sparty is not a good defensive ball club - I give Iowa an advantage in the OL vs. DL matchup.
Iowa is not as bad as they showed vs. NW. Sparty can't be trusted to beat Iowa by 10.
Will almost certainly play Iowa this Saturday.
