Their problem isn't being timid or anything related to mindset. Maybe there is some pressing when things go wrong, but that's any team.
It's talent, they don't have a lot of it. Their best offensive player is 5'9.
The Bulls aren't exactly loaded either. They have the best player on the floor but their depth is atrocious.

What about when the 8th seeded Nuggets beat the #1 seeded Sonics? Sonics won 63 games that year.
I disagree about the mindset, maybe because they're feeling pressure or maybe it's because they're all trying to do too much
but when an NBA players drives, then leaves his feet, then tries to throw a cross court pass that defenders only need to catch to steal, they're playing scared and stupid
they have to play composed team basketball, and they're not
and that's not an excuse, it's the reason why they're being outplayed
they made Rondo look like a star tonight, passing to him like he was still wearing green
It isn't over yet, but going to be tough to overcome two losses at home. They played so poorly last night. Way too many mistakes and giveaways. Rebounding has been horrible all year and the Bulls are killing them on the boards. I thought the C's would at least get through the first round. Ugly.
