Think it is more of a case of the overall consumer being more educated.

There are still a truckload of NO PAY/ SLOW PAY books out there, but most are going to start losing their chance at a strong customer base due to the positive knowledge that is being spread around about the MANY MANY good sportsbooks in the offshore world.

Sites such as this THE RX, as well as MW, SBR, TOW, and a few others have had a major impact into this education process.

Lets all continue to strive and make the offshore world a better and safer place to play.

I would have to say that this site as the "others" have helped make this industry better.

This post is def better than the Manning/Marino poppycock. :finger:

To topic, maybe to the posting community moreso, but I think there are still many rogue books opening daily who will steal from unknowing players.

I'm not sure it's simply a case of the "bad" books being weeded-out. I think "good" books that are bad at advertising(there are many areas in this) are being weeded out more quickly.

Agree, books like www.sunsetsports.com with 50% bonuses must be highly
suspect, the next APEX ? I'm far from sold on Mansion too.

The "bad" books are clearly being weeded out. Mergers & acquisitions have also contributed to the "survival of the fittest" mode that we have been in for the past couple of years.

Posters who do their own "research" by visiting forums such as this one are less likely to get "stiffed." The internet has grossly inflated the knowledge required for gamblers to make an informed decision before sending their hard earned money abroad.

But even with the superhighway that we call the internet, rogue books and thieves remain in business. Example of these include ESB and SBG GLOBAL..

It still amazes me that the vast majority of gamblers haven't been "tapped" and they still continue to bet with "locals."

On a positive note, the stage we are in now should end up yielding only a few strong sports books surviving at the very end. The competition is healthy, but those sports books who are undercapitalized, mismanaged, poor businessmen/marketers, etc, will either be gobbled up by others or forced to close their doors...
