I've been reading the discussion for college bowls and been looking at several posts on the RX service forums.

In my opinion, and I would like to know what you guys think also, but most of the guys that were doing well on the forum seem to do be feeling the sting on the bowl games. I know Dizz, Ace, GoSooners, and several of the respected members are not doing well.

I personally myself was doing pretty good at first, but been screwing up lately and have fallen to even money. Bad beats by TCU, Clemson, Penn St. and others, mainly within the last 3 days have taken all my early profits.

From what I've seen on the forum, there has been one system that has been pretty good, mainly UK's but, only a few games left. Should of just followed those, played too many games I guess.

Even the majority of the touts are losing this bowl season. Based on the RX service plays. I know that Furmanski is fading all touts, but in all seriousness, we can't be doing this for every sport to win money.

I know we all got our superstitions, mine myself are silly, but sometimes it works. I will not watch any of my bowl games in which my opponent scores first. I'll watch till then and shut it off and go do something else.
In a way, I still am a bit constructive and don't feel too much like a degenerate gambler.

Anyways, best of luck to everyone, and if it helps, I'm thinking TT, Kentucky and Alabama today.

Bowls games imo are the worst time of the yr to make money, you have too many bs games and not sure if a team give a damn or not or just happy to be away from home etc.people play too many bowls games by a wide margin.play a few games and be happy with that imo, i could give a damn if we have 1 bowl game on or 7 on a given day.But the bottom line is that a lot of people have time off from work and with all these so call games on they go from one game to the next game and yes drinking dont help either, what is a huge mistake.pick a game or 2 and go with it imo is the best way to play the bowls. ck

I'm having a great bowl season so far and I think it's maybe the easiest time to win except for the opening couple of weeks of the season. This year has had a couple of weird games, but I think too many people get caught up in too much minutia with bowls. It's too hard to compare details with teams that never play IMO. Here are my plays and their outcomes so far with the next two that are on tap.

Wake -3 - WINNER
TCU +3, under 52 - WINNER
FAU +13.5, under 75.5 - WINNER
Cal -2.5, Under 57.5 - WINNER
NW +18.5, under 72 - WINNER
Pitt +8.5, Under 57.5 - WINNER
BC -3 - LOSER
Kansas -9 - WINNER
GT +3.5, Over 45 - LOSER
Iowa -3 - WINNER
UGA -7 - WINNER
Mich St +10 - LOSER (hedge on the line steam at 1/3 the original play)
SoCal -9 - WINNER
Ole Miss +10.5, Over 59.5
Bama -9

Phil Steele is the best college football handicapper on the planet IMO. This guy lives, eats, and breathes college football 365 days a year. That is the only sport he handicaps. The rest of these clown touts are just glorified salesmen. It is no wonder that Steele kicks their ass year in and year out.

ck I respectfully disagree. I think bowl games are a good way to make money because most are played on a neutral site and usually fairly predictable. I play almost every bowl game played M-Sat because the Sunday night ones are games I dont want anything to do with. But if you do your homework it is fairly easy to make money because you don't have to cap CFB and its whacky home field advantage. Although, I would agree if you don't have the time to cap all the bowls don't bet them and pick a few.

I have been winning a lot actually. Haven't posted a losing day and had +10 units yesterday.

Gl the rest of the way.
