No thanks. I'm happy with the houses I bought in here in Florida. They are worth something. Real estate in Costa Rica is a castle-in-the-air. You're going to wake up one morning and those Malibu-like real estate prices in CR are going to devaluate about 50% to where they were before the whole bubble started. All the smart money is leaving or has left CR, if you haven't noticed. There are fewer and fewer people left down there that are even capable of paying these prices. No one in their right mind invests in CR anymore with it's very weak property laws (which give unsavory characters a chance to LEGALLY steal your property) and the shaky Costa Rican currency which could have a major devaluation at any moment. You have the Tico government which is desparate for money inventing new ways to relieve people of their cash who are dumb enough to invest money or live there. I will continue to strongly advise anyone I talk to about CR to not invest an apple in that little third world socialist's paradise.
