4-2, +2.91 units

1* STL ML -110
These two already have bad blood two games into the season. Not sure who might be suspended from Saturday's fracas. Reds SP Jeff Hoffman is not a guy you'd want as your 3rd starter. Don't the Reds have someone better? Hoffman has been a project now for the couple of years, and in the spring he was still looking like a project. Poor command, a hittable fastball. The Cards send the troubled Carlos Martinez to the mound. Martinez has good stuff still, but mentally it's questionable what he can accomplish. He ended spring with two solid starts, and is playing for next year's contract. Both teams are hitting well to start the season. Like the Cards' bullpen a little more.

1* Chicago WS ML +103 Dylan Cease looks like an ace at times, but his command is still in question. This spring it improved, especially his last start. Ohtani, the Angels' starter, is still a big question mark as a pitcher. Or as a hitter. His velocity is back, but his command is inconsistent. His pitch count gets high in early innings and he might only go 2-4 innings. He's been injury prone and his last start this spring was awful as a blister hampered his effectiveness.

1* STL RL +145 Probably putting too much on this one game, but I got a feeling Martinez pitches strong, with a good BP behind him, while Hoffman implodes.
