I received my call from Paul yesterday evening.
First of all, I have conflicting views about Robbie. Each time I called, he made constant assurances that I would be paid in full and would end each conversation with his signature, "No worries, my friend". I knew he was full of s__t but, on the other hand, he never ducked a phone call and did pay me 43% of my total debt over a period of two months. I'm sytill owed a large sum and, according to Paul, I'm in the middle of the pack in terms of $$ owed. He offered me three choices. (1) I could opt to receive a monthly cash payment, beginning in October, that would take 4 (that's right, "four") years to pay me off. That money would come from Robbies future earnings at Platinum. Warm and fuzzy, I do not feel. (2) I could receive an account at a "new" book, "Platinum SB" (somehow I recall a book with that name) for 20% of the amount owed me. If I lose, it would come off the amount owed me and, if I win, I get to keep my winnings. What happens after I lose the 20% was not answered. (3) The third option was the most vague. I could get an account for 50% of the amount owed me but my losses would somehow have to be paid. Thats an option?
Mostly, I've grown used to the idea that I'll probably never receive another cent.
