meeting with team today, I think it's insurance for Blount who's a FA

I think he's an upgrade from Blount, but he's probably going to have to accept less money than he wants

Gronk returns, Cooks and AP? TB going to look better than ever

What would they do with both AP and Blount? Seems to me they are the same type of running back. Is Blount a free agent this year?

If the money is similar between AP and Blount it's kind of a no brainer who to take isn't it? AP is only roughly a year older than Blount and looks to me like he has the body to play longer than Blount.

Logic here seems pretty clear. You whoop your opponents with Brady to Gronk, Edelman, Cooks, Hogan, White, Mitchell. But then as they try to adjust to this onslaught, you then switch whoop to the running game with AP.

Makes sense once you break it down.

Would every surprised if they actually sign him. He won't be very productive getting just 10-15 carries a game.

If the Pats sign him it will be for one year cheap. They will lure him with the dream of a ring and the chance to prove he still has "it" to sign for bigger money next year with someone else.

What do you guys think he has left?
