surfrat has it exactly right, the mobster said, without saying it, take the dog. if you think about it its the only way games can be fixed really, to ask the fave to shave a few points and not cover. even that can't be 100% but it certainly easier to do for any player in the game, and also raises the least suspicion. you know, shit happens, fumbles, picks, penalties, missed freethrows, fouls when our team has the lead etc.
