Inside info can be quite valuable. I know a bettor who has who has two guys following three specific teams, one in Florida and one in Arizona. He pretty much knows who is going to be pitching after the first week. It might be tough if you only know the starters, both going 2 or 3 innings, but if you know who starts, who comes in for two after that, who will follow, etc...you can get some edge. Also very useful to know who is going where with split squad games. It isn't a lock by any means, but he generally comes out well ahead and then shares the profit with his sources.
