My friends flew into vegas to come visit, I end up getting drunk and withdrawing close to 1000 dollars like an idiot. Now I'm overdrafted and have no way of paying it all this second. Has anyone ever used a cash advance site or anyhting like it when you need it now. Any ones experience would be appreciated because I am Fucked. Thanks

Spaded all i can say is try a relative or a friend. those cash advance's place's rape you. ive heard like say you borrow 50 you pay back 130 its awful. Do you have a credit card? Do you have good credit? if so just go get an unsecured loan. You could pawn the title to your car if you had to just make sure you go some where that gives you 45 days at 0%. Or you can sell and pawn things off. I know thats not the answers your looking for but good luck bro

I go to Advance America for money grams and on the wall is the juice board.
The highest they go is $700 and you must pay back $795 which I thought to my self isn't that bad,not good but hell bet they get stiffed a lot.

You really have to read up on those contracts....And thats what they are a contract. It may be $95 for $700 but its got a specific time. if it says 5.00pm and u drop a payment thru the night deposit at 5.01 you will probably owe an additional 35%.and not of 700 but now 795...these are usually weekly contracts that auto renew if not paid on time. Some places get people to put up car titles and when they come back 3 weeks later they find out they owe so much in financing and end up losing their car to boot....When their original borrow was only maybe $300..
By the way once the Stimulus checks and Stimulus welfare go out these places will be booming like Oil City in the 40's.......find 1 that is public load up on the stock..

The 1st time wasn't a problem for me and iit was done fast. I paid $351.92 for $300 but I paid it back faster then teir 30 day plan. It was Pay Day Max or something. I needed a checking account and didn't have any problems. Read the terms b/c some say you will be charged a small fee regarless of decision. I'd stay away from those b/c I think we both know what their answer will be..... GL

strongly suggest using any alternatives first, espc if your need extends over 2-4 weeks vs using these guys, but if you must...

www.cashnetusa.com
www.payday1.com (Payday max I think is sister co)

Both charge around $15 per hundred, up to 30 days. repayment on your next paydate. Avoid MTE or UnitedCash Advance on the net..$30 per hundred and no guarantee they wont keep taking $$ once you pay them off.

Also, if you need longer terms www.cashcall.com. They let you take terms of 6-12 months. Interest is nuts (between 75-100% APR), but thats half of what you would pay taking a loan @ $15 per hundred over the course of a full year.

ProPP - Several of these shops are publicly traded. Advance American is ticker AEAS..cant remember all the others, but there are at least 6 or 7 out there. As stocks these places have sucked..too many legal problems and too many people trying to put them out of business.

Recently capped interest here in Ohio at 27% APR and a fee of $15 or $20..their response, lower interest from 391% to 27% and a $20 origination fee..but you get paid via money order and cashing a money order cost $50..btw the money order is made payable to you and the check cashing place if they suspect you might be smart enough to open a real bank account..so you cant cash the check without paying at least $90 in fee's and interest.

Pawn shops are the way to go if you have something of value, much better terms. Trust me, got burned by these guys a few years back..never again.

You are in luck. Since you are in Vegas, you know there are cash advance places every other block. Here's what you do.

Go to as many as you can and borrow the maximum. When it comes time to paying it back, don't worry. All you will need to do is claim you didn't understand the contract and they forced you to borrow. After all, everyone knows they are predatory lenders and no one can be expected to actually pay back a loan if it comes from a predatory lender.

Make sure you let your friends in on this new source of income. Remember, borrow, borrow, and borrow some more. And never pay it back. That's for suckers.

That's change you can believe in.

I've always wondered what reprecussions these places have if you don't pay.

It's a hell of a lot worse than just "not paying" your credit card. Most places will make you post-date a check. So if you don't pay by due date, you've basically bounced a check to them and then can be charged criminally and sued in most places. They don't have to go after you like a collections agency - the cops will !

In Vegas, there is mandatory jail time - that's how they are so effective in getting people (like Barkley) to pay markers. An unpaid marker is a bounced check and you can go to jail on the first offense.

Other places may not be a strict, but if you are going to not pay a debt, better off skipping the credit card than one of these payday loans.

I don't know how this works...? Nobody would need to advance money.

Open up a 0% APR credit card and transfer the balance there. May cost a hundred or so in fees but will save you paying that ridiculous interest rate.

edit: If you took it out from an actual store you may have to open up two cards

card a: take the cash advance from there
card b: transfer card a to card b.
