Anyone use the Pre Paid ATM card

Just recieved my card through the mail and was wondering how it's used? Just like a bank ATM card? Are there fees involved? I want to go make a withdrawl of some of my funds with this method and any help from anyone who has used it would be greatly apreciated. Thanks

You can do up to $500 in any rolling 24 hour period and up to $1500 in any rolling one week period. There is a $1.50 fee by PPATM (in addition to any ATM fees) and I think there is also a $1.50 fee for point of sale purchases.

For the first $1500, they are better than NETeller. But over that NETeller is superior because they have $1000 per day ATM limits, I don't think any weekly limits and you can make direct EFT deposits for higher amounts whereas Pre-Paid only does checks and bank wires. But the checks are mailed from Ohio so they only take a couple days.

does PPATM require social security numbers for the debit card? I believe Neteller does.

What about theose "flex cards"?

I live close to Flint. Yes, PPATM requires SS#'s so if you are a tax cheat, on the sex offender list or a domestic terrorist they are not for you.

FWIW, Just to answer the question, I do not and would not use PPATM. My reasons are personal and no need to share with the forum.

Also if you have an acct at Carib, they are lightning fast with PP Atm payouts. (when you can get on their website). They processed one for me the other day in about 3 minutes.
