I started using them for savings about a year and a half ago, they seem to have a better rate than most banks anyway.
I recently put in some more money in a CD with them. No complaints at all.

ING is excellent for money market funds you have set aside. Right now they're paying 3%, excellent rate compared to many banks and s/l's right now. I love ING.

Ing

I was thinking of opening an account with ING. They will give me $25.00 if someone were to refer me and $10.00 to the referer. Is anyone interested in adding 10 bucks to their account?

Sure, I will take $10. I believe all you need to do Shea is give me an email address and I send you a sign-up link.

Thanks for the offer.

emigrant direct gives you 3.25% on its money market claims it is higher then anyone elses.

I'm an ING Direct customer and asked them why they haven't matched Emigrant Direct with their rates, here was ING's reply:

ING DIRECT does not base rates on one competitor, we base them on overall
market conditions as well as on our competition.

Even though another bank may currently offer a higher rate, we feel that we
offer the better deal for several key reasons.

ING DIRECT has consistently paid one of the nation?s highest yield with no
fees and no minimums for more than 4 years. We have a low cost business
model that allows us to continue to offer these high rates over the long
term.

ING DIRECT's privacy policy exceeds government standards. We have an opt-in
policy, which means that we do not share private Customer information with
affiliates and other third parties without express permission from our
Customers. Other banks may share this type of Customer information
automatically, unless the Customer tells them not to.

ING DIRECT has Sales Associates who are thoroughly trained on all of ING
DIRECT?s products answering the phone. Our Customers can always speak to
a ?person?. ING DIRECT Sales Associates strive to answer the phone in 20
seconds or less to provide an excellent Customer experience.

If you are simply looking for a higher rate, keep in mind that we also offer
CDs which earn as high as 4.10% APY depending on the term that you select.

If you have any more questions, give us a call 1-800-ING-DIRECT.

Thanks for your interest in ING DIRECT,
Brian C.

I noticed that, but have ZERO reason to switch, as ING is a rare company that satisfies me.....but I guess if you have alot of $$$, that extra would be nice..
