Anyone use an outdoor antenna?

Eliminated my locals last year. Got a mohu leaf indoor which works great on my second floor but isn't great on ground level. Thinking outdoor antenna on the roof and I'm set. Anyone go this route? Recommend a specific antenna? Seems to be a million on the market and its hit or miss. Any tips?

Unless you are looking for local channels you maybe better off with a streaming box. If you need help building it out there is a guy here who does it. I want to say Bushay is the user handle.
