We have lots of fun with this at work, and the rules are as simple as they come.
Each week, you pick one team to win. No point spread involved, just pick a winner. The only rule is that you can never pick the same team twice during the season. Pick the Browns in week one, and they're scratched off your list the remainder of the season. We have two versions of this contest. A- As soon as you pick a loser, you're out of the running. Last one standing wins. B- Pick games throughout the season (still can only pick any specific team just once), and add up the wins and losses at the end of the year. Can end at the conclusion of the regular season, or carry over to the playoffs, which is especially challenging. Often, many players can't pick a team because they used up all the playoff teams, thus registering an automatic "loss."
