I think some regular coke drinkers will switch, but I won't be one of them. Like WB says it tastes ALMOST like the real thing, but you can tell it's not.

It is similar to mixing half classic and half diet at 7-11. You can still taste that aftertaste. Maybe my taste buds are very sensitive. Too bad for me. I'll have to stick to the 9 teaspoons of sugar and colored carbonated water.

Too many calories for this diet cola drinker. If I switched to that I would put on a pound a week.

agree - when this carb fad dies out in a few years (and it will) there are a TON of people who are gonna be looking for jobs and/or looking for ways to get rid of their excess inventory. with the exception of me in bed - NOTHING lasts forever!

so true Funkymonkey so true. I remember living in jersey and walching people sit in their running cars for 20 min just to get a spot close to the door.
I think they should sue the gas companies for making gas so cheap that it incourages people to be lazy.
No just kidding but hey if tobacco can get the shaft and fast food is the next target why not this.??

the worst part about the carb craze is that people are not even following the atkins diet properly.. .sure, he has you cut carbs but by the end of the book he gradually works you up to a normal level. . .a guy 20 pounds over can lose that in 4 months or so and be eating carbs at a normal level not too far after. . i know people that have been carb concious for over 2 years and really havent got too far

I don't think this drink is really intended for low carb people as much as just people on regular diets or feeling plain guilty. Hard to justify 18 grams of carbs on any low carb variety just for one drink. Its a catchy gimmick and these days you make a mention of carbs for that reason. I think the low carb diet works for some, but obviously it doesn't work for all. The fact is that the diets of before didn't work because they were so unrealistic. The ones that asked people to flat out change everything they eat to a rabbit's diet just was never going to work for 95% of the population.
