will make betting baseball super easy and you really rich?

A nickel a game fading them. Their pitching is so bad they may win only 80 games. That would be a HUGE profit for faders wouldn't you say?

If CC or AJ isn't on the mound, and ARod isn't in the lineup, I say it certainly can't hurt. They will be overvalued in every single game.

the lines will begin to reflect if they continue to suck, but as stated above, yankees without arod/healthy matsui and no cc or aj on the mound will be good fade material. I really dont know why the yankees are favored win the east, u can currently bet any 2 east to win (non yankees) and make money if one hits.

What will help a healthy Yanks line-up though is how easy the ball has flown out of the new stadium last two days. People are clearing the fences left and right.

When they signed CC & Burnett, Swisher ( lost Abreu/Giambi) I knew people would be all over the yanks.

I am not a baseball guy, but fans/gamblers tend to buy the hype when teams sign somebody ( like the redskins).

You even see it in the video games. If Adalis Thomas has a pretty good year for Baltimore he will be seen as a good player. If Thomas ( or anybody else) has a good year and then signs a monster deal with the Patriots (Redskins or other team), then you see his rating boost up.

Fans/video game programers/who ever go nuts when they see the contracts these guys sign, hear the sports talk radio, and the hype 24-7... the yanks didn't even make the playoffs last year but then are the clear favorites to win it all... really?

Fade them at the start of the year ( CC especially) until people realize they aren't going 120-42

not fading the Yankees, but playing the over in games at the new Yankee Stadium

Buster Olney of ESPN had a very good article about how the new Yankee Stadium is giving the Yankees an unexpected headache. Turns out, the wind swirls in the stadium are causing balls to jump out of the park. Already, it is on pace for a 250% increase in HRs this year vs. the old Yankee Stadium's HR stats from last year.

Phillies have given up more home runs through 9 games than any other team in history.

More shutouts Saturday than any day last year. Indians plate 14 in second inning - most ever in MLB history in a 2nd inning out of around 193,000 games. This has been one bizarre season so far.
