It's a good question, I believe, and without a clear answer, esp. on a one game basis. I think they had 3 overs/ 4 unders without him this year, excluding the final "who cares" game vs. the Bulls. They miss his 'D', of course, but he has been averaging 20.5 for awhile now with roughly 4 assists during the same stretch. His infectious energy will be missed on both ends.

For what it's worth the answer is yes. Artest being out will definitely affect the total. His responsibility is to guard Pierce which he does extremely well. Boston scored 88 in Game 1 with Artest. Figure on the Celtics getting into the 90's tonight. Meanwhile, the Pacers will lose a bit off the 104 they scored as Artest had 24 points. Do the math, and I think you'll find your answer. Thanks for your comments earlier. Best of luck to you.

Game 9000 - Why the post with "Pacers are playing the Celtics"? An "enough said, Pierce will now go off" comment, or a correction of something you thought someone was missing?
