Might want to cover your back side now and take USC -3, because USC will turn it up in the 2nd half. They are clearly the better, faster football team here.

WC, this is a big game for the pac ten!.USC is very solid and I would of loved to see them matchup with LSU or Oklahoma but either way it is a great showcase for our neck of the woods.

I need USC to go ahead and knock them out. Got a teaser USC -1 & Miami +7.5. If USC puts them away, I'll go ahead and hedge and lay the same amount of my original bet on Florida State -1.5 and hope it lands inbetween to win em both......Good luck guys....

Gamblingman...

That's how good football teams do it. They also had a TD pass in the end zone called incomplete, are moving the ball at will on Michigan's "top-rated" defense, USC's overrated d-line overpowering Michigan's "top rated" offensive line, and Michigan's running game is going nowhere.

Look for more of the same, and USC WILL score again off a Michigan turnover.

I agree a good fb team does force turnovers but thats streaching it a complete freak play.

Talk to me about good teams after the hawaii game over and the purdue game gl i just don't see any reason to panic.

Alright, then, USC just went 87 yards in five plays and 1:15 seconds.

What does USC have to do to get respect? They are up by 21, shutting out Michigan, and people are still wary of USC.

I'm not saying the game is over by any stretch, and I fully respect Michigan. But USC is the best football team in the country. But even if they win by 40 and shut out Michigan, people will still say..."I'm not impressed by...."

BY WHAT? THEIR DOMINATION?

gamblingman, yes that INT was a bit lucky in one respect that it bounced off his heel... however, do not overlook the BIG PICTURE. The big picture is that USC's offensive line and defensive pressure is forcing Navarre to hurry, rush, etc. The blitz on that play in question led Navarre to throw the ball early. If Navarre keeps getting sacked, knocked down, and hurried... eventually another "freak play" will happen. Some kind of deflection or fumble and it's always easy to blame the "freak play" but you have to understand the cause-effect nature of football. Get many chances to hurry/knock down/sack a QB and if each chance has a small probability of a "freak play" or turnover of some kind... the sum of those probabilities is what how you handicap.

It's all about probabilities....

WC,

I just don't understand why USC just doesn't get enough respect. How many passing TD's have they had today (game isn't over yet) vs. a top-rated defense and secondary that has allowed only 6 passing TD's all year?? Michigan has allowed only 15 sacks all year... how many does USC have? (game not over yet)

No one seems to remember that USC had the TOUGHEST BCS schedule in 2002, and still came away with 11 wins! So just because their strength of schedule is weaker this year... <insert BCS arguments here>.

USC is clearly the #1 team in the country. We are not alone in our opinion... the NCAA coaches and press agree.

Nice drive Michigan. There is just barely enough time to sustain two more 80 yard, 17 play, 10 minute drives to tie it up.
