Wow...I wish I was as passsionate about HS Football as you are. I never went to games when I was in HS and have only been to a couple since. I guess I didn't go, because our HS team sucked!!! I guess I am in aw by the pros with the catches and routes they do.

Girl I am seeing graduated a couple years back and is now the head cheerleading coach there, so I plan on going to a couple of games this year. They play a school this year that has one of the best players in the nation Noel Devine, so I will definitly be at that game.

Devine is def #1 RB in country. Unfortunately, the kid has serious academic and character issues. I believe he already has 2 kids with 2 different baby mamas. If anyone has time, check out his video highlights on rivals. Ill try to post later.

Byrnes game should be good--I'm looking forward to it.

Anybody see that "reality" high school football show on MTV the other night? It's showing last season at Hoover High in Alabama, this year's USA Today number one team. In this week's episode, they played Tim Tebow and Ponte Vedra Nease in a game that was televised by ESPN. I ran into it by accident, but it wasn't bad.

Live in an area where there is a brand new high school, so it's tough to get excited for the local games. Used to attend the local games back when I lived in South Carolina and they were great.

High school football is huge here in Ohio. I went to Youngstown Chaney-Austintown Fitch last night. Huge crowd, excellent time, not going to get any better for $6. We are looking for another good one tonight, may go see St Ignatius blow up Boardman

I try to get out but certainly follow..... I'm sure most have heard of Berwick, Pa and George Curry! Berwick High Scool were the #1 team Nationally in the USA Today newspaper, George has left Berwick to coach @ Wyoming Valley West in Plymouth Pa, Northeastern Pa. Probably be at least 10,000 people @ their opener against Scranton next week and I'm sure he'll be looking to add St Ignatius to the scedule in a few years

Houston are keeps coming up short in 5A.
Too much Southlake Carroll, but this year Southlake won't finish number 1 in the Nation or state.

Nationally, maybe not. But state? The 5A Championship (and the #1 ranking that comes with it) is theirs to lose; they are the definition of a program that reloads while others rebuild.
