If so did you catch how many of soldiers they said had been killed in action? I could have sworn I heard some insane number, I don't even want to say what I think I heard. We should not even be there to begin with. I always laugh when I hear these neocons talk about how Iraq and Afganistan are democracies because of what we did. Who the f u k cares? Why are we trying to impose our will onto other parts of the globe?
Anyone who thinks the invasion of Iraq made us safer is a complete and utter moron. If anything, it made people hate us even more (if that is even possible).

The government doesn't report daily wounded unless there were soldiers killed along with them. You know 8 dead, 10 wounded. If no dead, no commeny from the government.
The mainstream media seems to have given the government a pass on this issue.
Many of these wounded are coming home limbless, some are coming home paralalegic for life. This is a result of better care in the field that gets to them quicker and saves more lives. I read somewhere that most of the wounded would have been KIA if they sustained the same injuries in the first Gulf War.
