If you are I would like to hear the setup and cost. Right now I am running 2 with a dual monitor video card. Someone said something about using that and a new PCI card to do it or a tri card? Tri cards that I looked at were pricey though. Thanks

Matt-
PCI refers to the type of slot. Make sure you actually have a open PCI slot. More and more computers these days have so much integrated on the motherboard, that they don't have many extra slots.

You want to get a cheap video card that will fit into a PCI slot.

Are you able to access 3 different web sites on all three monitors with one PC?

Maximum-
You can access three different web sites with one monitor (just run 3 copies of browser). The three monitors allows you to place each browser window on a separate monitor.

Ok, Java I guess I get it more now, so I need to open this thing up and figure that out, then just get the cheapest video card I can find.

Right now mine is setup to where I have a main monitor with the toolbar and my icons on the desktop, then my 2nd monitor is just "extra space" the background extends, but not the toolbar, when I add this new video card will it allow the 3rd monitor to do the same as the 2nd? Just be extra space?

The General does and ONE blew up on him...this is a true story... He flung it into the front yard so it would not catch the house/trailer on fire...

When I lived in Vegas, I had 4 monitors(and 8 tv sets) hooked up.

I used my girlfriends labtop as one of my screens.

EVERYbody should have at least two screens for wagering purposes.

i don't see the reason for having more than 1 screen.
just open 5 or 6 windows of your internet browser.

I use 2. One for scores and line feeds and the other for browsing, betting.

The problem with one is that it will bog your PC down so much with 15 browsers open, but it can be dealt with.

One blew up on me yesterday. BOOM! PUFF of smoke. Sorta shook me for a few. It was right in front of me. I did throw it in the yard. Still there. Was hoping it to be stolen ;)

OK, now usually when you go down your "everybody should..." road I agree with you, but explain to me why most people need two, let alone everybody. Works perfectly well for me to have one screen, and one browser with tabs to the 20 or so sites I am monitoring. A good computer and web connection can handle this with ease.
