When I was working full time for the books, yes...just remembered that no team was as good as it looked and no team was as bad as it looked...match-ups were important..
Then I liked to compare my numbers to the experts to see how I did...
good starting point is the home team aspect then you take into account injuries, previous opponents, next week's or next day's opponents, match-ups, tendencies, and other factors...it is difficult and not as easy as everyone thinks...

I find it pretty easy...As in predicting what the line WILL be. Not my line but seems 9 outta 10 times I can call what the line will be before I see what it is.
