I live 15 minutes from the border...

Lots of nice places in NC, with the Outer Banks being my favorite...

With a name like Blue Edwards, I would think Greenville would be the place to go for obvious reasons.

Blue edwards,

I've lived in NC since day 1. Its a beautiful state with alot to see and experience.I can honestly say,"I love calling NC home!"

What are you looking for/what do you want to be close to? Golf, beach, mountains, city, country, etc.

Pinehurst is a nice place(if you like golf)Great people, more golf courses than you could ever play, alot of fine dinning restaurants, not far from NC coast or Myrtle Beach SC

I lived on the SE coast in NC and SC in the late 80's, early 90's & I recommend staying 100 miles inland. Hurricanes! It was nice along the coast, but I would not want to live there.

North carolina is my 2nd favorite state. You have all types of terrain and people. I lived in Beaufort, NC for a summer. Best time of my life. Lot of military presence (Jarheads - sorry General) in that area -- Camp lejuene , Cherry point, Havelock, Moorehead city area.

As posted above - nothing beats the Outer Banks

I hope you're not a horse racing fan. YouBet.com and the other (US based wagering sites) do NOT allow anyone in North Carolina to sign up.

Hey those Southern Baptists and Methodist. etc--still don't have a state lottery either!
Just something to consider.

that's cool general

Im lived right behind Mike's restaurant in those shitty apts. Mike's is across from the Dockhouse. i worked at Clausen's (fry guy). My buddies and I just showed up for the summer in 1990. Partied our asses off and had to go back to school in the fall. I also worked at Jim Bailey's Crow's Nest Marina in Moorehead City during the day.
Great town

I think MSNBC rated Asheville (Smoky Mountains) the 15th best place in the US to live. It is gorgeous there.

I was always drunk playing nintendo usually unless on duty. Are you familiar with that frog (I cannot remember the exact name) colony of voodoo?

I also found chicken feet down there at the piggly wigglies LOL Sort of took me by surprise.

Great state

I lived and went to school in Greenville and Raleigh. Greenville is more of a country town that is centered around ECU. They can party their ass off. Raleigh(The triangle) is one of the top places in America to live year after year. Great place to raise a family.
