I know that they aren't very good but this is a bad spot for Mizzu. They come of an emotional and hard fought game against Colorado avenging last years loss. Now they play Baylor. They then play Texas next and then on to Okie State, Nebraska and KState. I have a hard time believing they keep focused in this one. They lost at Troy State in their only road game this year. Last year they were 1-4 on the road. I either see them starting slow in this game and coming back to win by a couple TD's or less or they start of good and coast.... much like Texas did last week.

I really like Baylor and I may jump on them getting +21 at Skybook. :umn:

The line should keep climbing. It's hard to tell, but Baylor has improved. Not a lot but they have improved. The Big XII South is head a shoulders above the North this year. Baylor is really the only really weak team. I'm not sold on Mizzou. Brad Smith can't do everything. I'm waiting to see if the line keeps climbing.

I'm on Mizzou to ROLL here as I think they'll get a big early lead and not let up UNLIKE what happened at Troy earlier.....Baylor is still Baylor don't forget.

OMM,

Funny you mention this game, was talking about it with my friend on the golf course today...Would definitely consider Baylor at +21.5 or more...late game, 9 PM CST kick-off...Baylor is seriously not that bad, especially at home...May make a small play here...

Baylor did have opportunities to score more vs. longhorns last weekend, as they were in the red zone at least 4 times only coming away with one redzone td. Dane King was not terrible vs. very good Texas secondary. Guy Morriss is well respected by his squad, while Mizzou does have discipline issues at times (td called back by silly penalty vs. Colorado , Troy meltdown, etc). them getting 3 TDs in this one, while Mizzou is in an almost "dont care" sandwich spot (Texas and the rest of the heavier Big12 artillery coming up), you've gotta really like Bears, or dont play it at all.

Liking the over in this contest. Last 4 games between Baylor & Mizz have combined for an avg. of 73ppg, with the lowest in those 4 battles was 65 in 01 for a 41-24 Mizzu win.
