Go down to the rr under tfz picks and you'll see I played it at -275 the second day of the race. His team winning that time trail was big. They were not expected to win it. Looks like Armstrong has a very strong team this year plus a couple of top bikers are hurt or way back.Beloki. Ullrich and Botero are his three biggest worries. Sunday will be a huge day either way.

I am a big tour fan, and a huge Lance fan. I don't see how anyone could lay a price even close to that though. Too much stuff can happen in a lengthy dangerous event like this...

If I was going to blow cash on a fave, why not just take Pedro next time out then you won't have to wait until the tour de france is over to get paid... Just a thought.

Lance started at -360 then was pushed down to about -300 right before the tour started... Alot of action on the NO before the tour.

I'll take +450 on the no

Cecil,

Other then when Armstrong won the first time, when was the last favorite to lose?

FLip it around the other way unlike Pedro if Armstong has one bad day he can still win.You are comparing apples to oranges.

J, it doesn't matter to me, because I don't bet big favorites regardless of the sport.

I was assuming these bets were looking for action type bets, so why not get your money back sooner should you win...

Cecil,

DOn't get me wrong he can lose, and it is something of an action bet for me, not a whole lot at risk and much less of a return.Certainly not a genius taking a -300 favorite.

I do not play big favs either, but Lance is a stronger than average big fav if you do.

Sorry,I didn't see your odds Jwunder. Good call to get down early.

He certainly looks to be in the best position at this point in the tour he has been in.
