Now that those of us who have the Ebay pagers are screwed.

Who knows of a good pager deal? I'd like something like Sportsnow that updates scores every 2-3 minutes.

Thanks

WorldSportCenter & CRIS both have them (among other books).

Millenium and probably other books will provide a free pager for as long as you have money in their account or are reasonably making a play once in awhile. I didn't have money in my account for two years, but the pager was still active. They require a $500 deposit, but are also currently offering a 10% cash bonus, 15% Bonus Play, and a $50 two team 6 point teaser. The Bonus Play must be used in 7 days, but the teaser is available through the second week of the NFL. Pager is a Motorola Flex.

Try the Sports Page, sports pager.

$360, including the pager and 1 year of service.

Plus they use the CP-1250 and not that crap Bravo 800 that SportsNOW switched too ...

Chalk:

Why pay $360 for a pager plus service for 1 year, when there are so many books that will give you one free with a moderate deposit and play for as long as your account is active? Sports Page provides the same pager that is available from the books for free plus service. Absolutely no difference.

I have had the sports pagers that are offered by several offshore books and there are a few differences.

For one, NO one, and I mean NO one, offers faster scores than The Sports Page. They run circles around SportsNOW. Plus, you get MULTIPLE offshore books for line feeds, as opposed to 1 by the book you sign up with.

I agree, why pay for something when it can be had for free, but in this case, the scoring updates and the line service are the reasons why I pay for this service.

To each their own though ...

Have a good one ...

Hang on TCU ... Pull away Arizona State ...

No reason to pay alot for Sportspage, the pagers from the books utilize sportspage signal anyway.

By the way, the guy on ebay has the new pagers with the frequency now for around $100 and they will work forever

playersonly69,

I am not an expert on this stuff so how do we know it will last forever (or years). Can't they just change the the frequency on these every week like they claim? Thus scambling the pager? Thanks.

MY EBAY PAGER WAS WORKING EARLIER THIS WEEK, HAD TROUBLE LAST NIGHT BUT GOT SOME SCORES EARLY, what seems to be the problem. I bought like 6 or 7 from a guy who allways has the espn to go free service, just curious it's been working for around 5 or 6 years.

Which Sportsbooks offer the cp-1250? It appears most offer the Motorola Sportspager. Is Sports Page quicker than Sports Now? Sports Now is backed up until next Thursday and are very cocky right now.

Give www.mycustomscores.com a try. We are a new advertiser on the RX. You pick just the scores you want to "sweat" and enter them in our web interface. You can then either visit the web or call our toll free 800 number for up to the second scores on just those games. Another feature you can use is by pressing the International rotation number of the team you are interested in you will hear just that score. Please give it a try.

We would love your feedback on our new product.

There is no cost and there are no ads on the scorephone. I think you will be impressed with the speed of the scorephone.

We were limiting calls to 20 per day but have upped that to 30 off "popular demand".
