haha you guys who are saying stuff like just go buy a toy are missing the point. OK, your posts are funny, but still, you have to look at it this way - when you have kids there is a period of time where they think you are Superman, where you have all the answers, you can do anything in their eyes. I know that time is limited so I am trying to maximize the experience.

Yea the stuffed animals or whatever you win can be bought at a store but it's not the same as walking up to the Tower of Strength, grabbing the hammer and watching the lights flying up the pole. Your kid is in awe, and most 6 year olds think its cool to walk away with a stuffed animal almost as big as him.

I can't believe no one has given any advice on hitting on the foreign exchange students (they put a lot of cute girls at these games) that will be working there. If there is a lot of talent on display I will try to bring back some pics for the horndog crowd. We are going to be a major amusement park so no genetically challenged carnys to deal with.

The easiest to win at,that was mentioned eariler is the water-gun game.there are several variations of this game ... so try to find the one where you squirt water into a clowns mouth and blow-up a balloon, the secret to winning is to get a NEW balloon.the older ones are stretch-out and harder to stretch enough to pop.

stay away from non-winners
1. cover the red circle w 5 disks
2. shoot the star w a BB gun
3. 3 ball pool

The trick is, 75% of them are scams. The rest, you spend enough money on playing the game to buy a new stuffed animal.

The pitching game where you knock all the pins off the platform. They have it every year at the bull running tournament here in Costa Rica known as "Zapote". If they have it in the states the secret is to pitch the ball so it hits all three pins and knocks them ALL off the platform. Most people aim for the bottom pins thinking the top pin will automatically roll off but I think its weighted with lead so it plops down on the platform causing you to lose. Aim at the top of the two pins on the bottom and the middle of the top pin and hopefully you knock them all off and then you scream "WHOS YOUR DADDY"!!!!!!!

The problem with those water games at amusement parks they will say you need to have at least 3 people to play or else you just get the tiny prize. If you are there with a kid, you have to wait for 2 other people to join in the game. And then if they have kids ,when its over and the kids realize only ONE person gets a prize, its not a good scene. I did this one year and a little girl next to my son was crying her eyes out.

I like the games where you are not competing with other people's kids.

hit the cue-ball at the bottom of the cue-ball in a scooping motion do it pretty quickly you actually scoop the cue-ball in the air somewhat with forward motion there you throw the coin out side the circle.

at the fair here they have three ball pool, i win at it all the time last yr the carny said I couldnt play anymore more after winning 4 times in a row.
