anyone know how to approach a scalper?

i have done this once in the past. but was worried the tickets were fake, any advice on getting the best price and confirming they are real?

I have never bought a ticket this way, but in my younger days we (friends & I) talked about it, but I had concerns as well about legitimacy. I guess you could walk to the box office and verify them? Look forward to some replies.

BB,if you want to wait till kick off,the price drops drastically. Counter offer about three quarters of what the are asking before kick off. After kick off,offer face value.

been awhile since i've been to a game, wanna see kickoff. one of the best parts of the game.

also, i will try and stick with the guys on the corners with the license around their neck. avoid the ones that approach you in a *sly* manner

BB,also look around for awhile.You may find someone who just has an extra ticket to unload instead of a scalper. Also a single ticket should be cheaper than tickets together.
