someone i knew dropped their glock and i know for a fact that it has history. i have already filed at the tip of the firing pin and bent it a tiny bit, but i dont want to go out and buy a 9mm barrel that won't fit. do glocks (this one is a glock 17) need a special barrel?

First off, why the fuck do you have it, second, you will see a serial plate on the left side, I recommend changing it (If its a Glock 9-17 go up by integers if 10, if its a glock 18 (fully/Semi) up by 100.
you will need to change the barrel to change its ID..... it costs more then the pistol would cost brand new.... I say tie a rock to it and toss it into the ocean.
