They play UNC tonight at Chapel Hill.I saw there record was 7-1 but don't know what kind of compition that was against.I know that UNC has one of the best college teams I have seen in a long time but they are giving up 29 for the game and 15 1/2 for the first 1/2.
any insight would be appreaciated.

Evansville is a good small conference team that shouldnt be getting 30 from anybody. I think this goes like the O-Rob game.

Gotcha,O-roberts actullay outscored them in the 2nd 1/2.I was considering the 1st 1/2 or no play.

I know only the Lakers, Cavs and Celtics should be giving them 30 points...this is a bit of a stretch IMO...I saw the line at like 18-19

follow missouri valley very closely, and subsequently Evansville. Have backed them successfully 4 times this year, all at home. This is a team I picked to be a sleeper in the Valley, kind of like Illinois St last season. They have an experienced back court in Shy Ely, and Jason Holsinger. Holsinger is an excellent shooter, and Ely is a great slashed. They also get solid production from a senior Nate Garner, and freshman Jason Haarsma. They improved quite a bit on one of their big weaknesses last year, rebounding. They are a well coached, scrappy team. Now with all that said I wouldn't touch them tonight. UNC is a totally different animal from what they have faced thus far. They are also a notoriously bad road team. This is a team you want to back at home, but stay far away from on the road. Where they have improved their athleticism they aren't anywhere near UNC athletic wise. I am expecting a rude awakening tonight. I wouldn't back them tonight, and i;m a big Evansville supporter. Their only chance is to shoot lights out, but I just don't see it happening. They won't won't be able to hang with UNC. I see a 35 point victory for the Heels

no they don't necessarily play uptempo, and don't think they will be successful controlling the pace. unc can name the score

i think there are better games out there ... but evansville is pretty decent. I have seen them play a couple times this year.
Obviously North Carolina wins this one.

I am guessing it will be a 27-35 point victory. So the spread is pretty close in my opinion.
