Anyone interested in meeting in Vegas (end of Oct./early Nov.)?

Most of you have read the glowing reports of how much fun we had at the Bash this last weekend. Some of you couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts.

I was hanging out with Mr. Leisure and Akillies on Monday and they said that someone suggested having a get-together toward the end of October of perhaps the 1st week of November. I told them I would start this thread to see if there was any interest. There would be plenty of NCAA football and plenty of NFL football to follow at the sportsbooks.

Of course this would not be officially sanctioned by theRX.com. Hotel rooms will not be comped. However, some guys were able to get rooms for $25/night at the Las Vegas Club which has rooms that are closer to the Golden Nugget sports book than were the rooms in the South Tower of the GN.

Let us all know if you would be interested and which dates fit best.

Since I live here, I am always game to meet up with anyone that happens out this way. I'm sorry I missed the Bash but as I mentioned earlier, I was in Portland, Oregon this last weekend giving away my Daughter who got married on August 16. I'm always very active on weekends when the NFL and College Football season is in full swing. ! Can't you just smell it in the Air ? :toast:arty:

Any college football weekend in the fall is good for me as I am in Vegas basically every weekend.

I may have to take you up on that offer as champaign(sp). Iowa city and champaign are the only 2 big ten schools I have not been to.

I generally don't attend many games as I am on suicide watch after a Buckeyes loss.

Any more info on the cheap rooms at Las Vegas Club? And do they have reliable internet available?

I get offers every few days on airfare to LV for just a couple hundred bucks and could likely book a flight if you had a firm couple of days in mind.

just got back, met mr. l out their for football and poker . I would be able to go again at the end of the month.

i dont think lvclub has internet, 4queens does.
town was completely empty, they are offering all sorts of deals to get people in their rooms.
