I only do ab work at home really. Occasionally pushups if I'm not motivated to go to the gym. Before I got into going to the gym, my daily workout was 500 jumping jacks, 200 situps, 100 pushups. It got me into shape but is more cardio and toning than muscle building.
As far as weights go, I lift 5 days a week. Always start with 10-30 minutes of cardio. Then finish with 20-30 minutes of lifting.
Here's one I found online that is basically what I do:
Day 1 - Shoulders + Traps
Day 2 - Arms + Abs
Day 3 - Chest + Back
Day4 - Legs
Cept I do abs 3 or 4 times a week and also have a 5th day (generally Friday at around noon) where I work out whatever muscles aren't sore. Then I take Friday and Saturday off altogether.
