Not sure this would happen but it would seem most good players would play at your traditional sites and not play at these smaller places.

Anyone here play at sportsbooks that offer poker rooms? Like an SIA or some place with a small poker room, was looking at them today and I thought this? Cant imagine the players there are good players but would be hard to trust these sites I would think?

They are not run by the sportsbook but are just a skin of a bigger network. Sports interaction just changed, i believe they are now on the same network that has Players Only...thats the major site in that network.
At 5 dimes they use 2 different networks, 1 is the former "True Poker" network and the other is the Flash" network of non-downloadable games.

But the point about the players not being that good is kinda iffy. the pool of players is so small, most of these sites have less than 5000 players at peak and less than 2000 90% of the time. They have their regulars but the number of fish just looking to blow money i dont think is on a % basis any more than say Stars...it may be a lil easier to find them with fewer tables to shop at...
On a side note these BAD players are not always so easy to beat..Bodog probably has the fish your looking for but since the best hand wins in poker less than 60% of the time on avg its still a big grind to make money..

IMO the worst players play at the big sites.

Pokerstars has by far the worst sit and go players from any site in my experience

The only real difference in the major sites compared to minor sites is the use of Poker Tracker and other software. Poker Tracker doesn't support some of the smaller sites. That usually keeps away the 10+ table grinding TAGS, which is a plus. But even the smaller sites will still have it's share of skilled regulars around to play the weaker players.

Bodog IMO has the best/softest poker room for a mainly sportsbetting site. A lot of high-volume good grinders don't play there though because you can only multi table up to three tables, and their hourly is much higher playing 8-24 tables vs average competition. A few years back the Bodog games were ridiculously good, but then everyone found out and today there is a much higher ratio of decent regular:fish. I guess the same could be said for every site though since UIGEA. How is the poker coming along these days for you Iceman?

There are horrible players at every site, just certain ones have good players as well.
