Not many faucets of the game the Packers dont have the edge in against the EAGLES if Green is healthy.

Having said that, the EAGLES will win this game, and in liklihood cover the spread.

Very tough to play the Eagles on the road after an emotional Monday Night game like the Packers had.

I fully expect the PACKERS to defeat Philly once the playoffs roll around though.

Better QB

Better RB

Better recievers

Better OL

Better Rush Defense

Slight edge to Philly Pass D........but Green Bay improving BIGTIME with the experience of their two rookie DB and getting all-pro Sharper back from injury.

Better PK

But, and this is a big BUT for Packer Backers, Philly has TWICE the coaching staff AND the homefield advantage in playoffs.

gotta disagree with you there fish..

think Philly has the better recievers with TO being a game breaker, and he also makes the others better

Also think Akers is the better kicker, definitely more distance.....

While Favre is the "better" qb, he is not as versatile as McNabb, and that presents more problems for the GB defense, than for the Philly defense against Favre...

Could be a good game.....

Green Bay has shown on more than one occasion this year, that they are vulnerable.....Philly has shown it only once...

I agree with you Fishhead on this week, not a good spot for Green bay, I also like the Packers against the Eagles in Playoffs. They can run all day on the Eagles defense and keep Philly off the field. I'm not remotely convinced that Eagles are all that. They have had a weak schedule, plus when they did meet somebody that could run the ball you saw what happened. Not many teams have the offensive line like the Packers that can basically control the game and clock

wow

phil-6????

i was expecting philly-3.5-4

linemakers always think the mnf winner will comedown from a emotional high and also the lack of prep and messed up weekly practices

You have to remember, GB plays much better against fast and sleek WR like last night...........they have problems with BIG WR's like MOSS AND OWENS.

OWENS will have a field day against GB for the most part.

thanks general.
assuming ahman green plays, any thoughts on where the line will head?
i think the public will back green bay again after a good result for them on mnf, and they'll assume philly will be taking it a little easy.
maybe 4.5 by kickoff?

right around the GBay/Tenn game.. I bought tix on ebay for the phila/Gbay match up - at the time it looked like gbay would suck the rest of the year. I'm traveling cross country to take my 71 yr. old dad to the game. it seemed like it was just gonna be entertaining to see the new field and watch philly dismantle a hapless team. GBay has turned it around and suddenly we got ourselves a very hot ticket. upper level 50 yd line. i'm gonna boo the ** outta santa claus if i see his mangy ass.

on the biz side of things ... i'm taking the over in this game

Farve is only 50-50 on the road. Philly is not your average team this year so I would say Philly has a much better shot.

Can't we ALL just get along?!!

As a diehard Packer fan, wouldnt really be that upset if you did.

Further motivation come playoff time.

Would love to play Philly in the NFC Championship............when they always LOSE!
