pretty sure there are plenty of discounted tickets left for that drizzler of a game
So much for the myth of Iowa traveling well. Blame Obama.
I went when Maryland played Florida in 2002. There were plenty of seats available outside for $20. I don't know if you will get them all together but I think you could get 4 to 6 together. There will be tons of tickets out there for cheap. I would be shocked if anyone had to pay more than half of face value.
Wrong
I need 19 tickets, do you see me buying my tickets from the University???.......they are CRAP SEATS AND EXPENSIVE!!!
I had 50 yard lines seats at the last Orange Bowl when Iowa sent 48,000 fans and paid a mere $90 for the tickets.
You think I want to spend 120 bucks and sit in the corner of the end zone?????
There will be a minumum 33,000 Iowa fans at this game........they will not send as many fans as the last Orange Bowl for the following reasons...........
1. Georgia Tech vs USC
2. Iowa fans had sights set on Fiesta
3. Economy
4. Team finished weak after contending for national title
5. Iowa State fans in the state actually have a bowl game to attend this year in Arizona.
Make no mistake about it, Iowa will be well represented at the Orange Bowl, as they have been in all their previous bowl games.
get there 2-3 hours early so long as you are willing to split into groups of 2-4, there will be plenty of seats available at reasonable prices outside the stadium.
Well, the last time Iowa attended the Orange Bowl it was a complete sellout.........hell, there were 55,000 Iowa fans there alone.
I'm counting on a minimum of 30,000 Iowa fans being at this game, and I would think GT would send at least that many being as close to Miami as they are..........tickets will not be easy to come by in my opinion.............but I should get a good seat for no more then $70, compared to the $120 the University is selling.
Ive been to Orange Bowls, there will be plenty of seats outside. this is a non-marquee pointless game, as most bowls are. Locals have no interest and something like 25% of tickets are presold or given away locally. There will be a lot of sellers and not many buyers outside. Almost all the people going already have their tickets.
