AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Ben Wallace is expected to miss at least two road games for the Detroit Pistons following the death of his brother in Lowndes County.
Wallace scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds last (Monday) night in Detroit's 99-to-96 double-overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers after learning of the death of his 61-year-old brother, Sam Junior, who died Monday morning.
His brother had been battling brain cancer.
Wallace is expected to miss games Thursday at Denver and Saturday at Utah. He will travel to White Hall, Alabama, to be with his family.
