Signup is continuing now through Friday, Sept. 5...early-bird deadline is 5 p.m. this upcoming Sunday (if you register and pay by then, you get free shot at $10,000 mini contest over last three weeks of the season)...it's a nice bonus, but if you're intent on entering I would still say it's worth it even if you don't get in by Sunday.

Mango...you make good points, but with all the crackdowns on money-laudering, etc., they still want to require you to show up in person.
However, if you have someone in Vegas that you trust, you can just send them the money and have them put in your entry under their name anyway (of course, then they would have to deal with the tax ramifications if you win big, but that's easily enough handled, too). Aliases are used for when they post selections each week, so you can put whatever name you want on there.
