I would imagine that in Costa Rica the cost of having a full time maid is not much..........correct?

No but I do have a milkman that comes to the house once a week. It used to be a common thing years ago. I don't even know anyone else other than myself that has one.

I used to try and save $ by doing as much as possible, but now I am paying for folks to help out...none full time....all well worth it IMO...looking for a dog walker now!

Mommy's helper (5 to 8pm)...she picks up kid, starts his dinner/bath etc...and does light housekeeping and cooking when we are available to hang out with the kiddo...$15/hr for 15 hrs week

Maid (once a week)...full cleaning...$85/week

Gardner (once a week)....blows off my EZ turf and picks up poo!............$25/week

Am considering hiring one like 20-30 hours a week. DOn't think I'd want them over all the time.
