I'd give a review, but I really don't have anything to compare it to; this is my first smartphone. It does look cool...very easy to use...love the visual voicemail and "favorites" screen. most regular email programs work on it, but not business emails, in case that's what you're getting it for...need a blackberry for that I think.

Ok i have it for a week now and its no Iphone but a damn good phone.
It has many live TV channels that are streamed almost perfectly (including NFL Network)
Music and Movies are cool, the Nav is really great, so great that i have no use for the Nuvi 660 i just bought.
The Phone works well and all just its a little annoying going through a couple menus to start dialing everytime.
As for the browser speed that WAS a problem, but not anymore
Anyone who has this Phone needs to MOD it like i did.
Someone at a Techie forum posted this and it works wonders, my internet speed literally doubled.
"First of all, I'd like to appologize for not posting this sooner. I've known how to do this for quite some time and done it on previous sprint phones with success. You're gonna need your MSL to do this. Under the ##data# menu, go to advanced, select slot index, delete the 02 and make it 07. Go back, then select multimedia, then buffer size. Delete the 07 and make it 20. When you exit this menu, your Instinct will reset. Upon powerup, go to main -->settings -->general -->update date profile. NOW, try out all your internet dependant software (browser, news, weather, music store, gps, etc), you should notice an increase in both the speed and smoothness of these programs as well as your data connections in general. This assumes that your browser was actually working fine in the beginning. If not, BEFORE doing the above, goto to the ##data# and hit restore first. Please, anyone who uses this, let me know your results. Positive or negative. Hopes this helps."

I've owned every version of the Treo since the 300. Been frustrated as hell with the 650 and 700p for years but couldn't give them up b/c of the one handed-ness that the treos offer.
Like Dsethi, I was hanging my 'HAT' on Android and didn't jump to the I phone. Best decision I ever made because the Treo 800w is simply the best phone I've ever owned...for *my* purposes.
