AFAIK Costa Rica is on the very edge of the satellite footprint, in other words, anywhere further south past Quepos is out of reach

Just get a big enough dish installed and you'll get it fine, even in rainy season.

I'm in Sabanilla and my 1.8M does the trick, further south you need a 2.4 though.
