..ok I`ll tvo it..Some guy had a thread about a special about a chick who gets busted for drugs in a foreign country..I dont know the name off hand but I want to watch it this week..HBO too

I believe TV Guide said this is a generation changing mini series that is one for the ages. Should be pretty interesting. Get the popcorn ready

Very good first episode for Generation Kill. Seems very believable. Actually 2 of the co-stars are veterans that served in Iraq.

Ganja Queen was a very good documentary as well. Was left in shock the way it ended.

Both shows are recommended.

Reminder for episode #2..I taped the first and have not seen it..I like to watch 2 back to back anyways

i thought the first one was ok - got the dvr scheduled to record

the ganja queen one- it appears now they had been smuggling their for a long time and usually included $1000 bribe money everytime. this time the brother took out the money and when the officer asked who's pack was it schappelle said mine thinking the bribe money was inside.

so of course you feel sorry for her, but the facts remain her whole family has been in the smuggling business for 20 plus years.

another australian was hung in singapore last year for drug smuggling. needless to say these airports have huge signs about the consequences of doing these things so it seems bit stupid to me.

2nd episode of G. Kill was even better. Little more action and the realism this show displays makes it a must watch.

i think the ganja queen is innocent, but someone in her family is involved in smuggling, brother and brother in law probably. I looked it up, cause its an old case, and the aussie lawyer admits they made up the bit about the baggage handlers being corrupt. she is stuck, out of appeals and her sentence has only been reduced by 6 months, strange prison as she was recently seen at a beauty shop outside the prison.

I don't know if they have a new director for each episode of Generation Kill, but did anybody notice that a woman directed the second episode? Kind of unusual with an all male cast in a show about war.

Where did you see that story? I have looked around a bit on the internet and never saw that. Interesting to say the least.
