Anyone going 2 join me & pick teams not to get swept in their respective series? I explain inside, input!

I'm going to explain this in case you didn't see what we were doing last season..


We were picking the team(s) who we believed wouldn't get swept in their respective series. You win as long as the team you select doesn't get swept in their 3-4 game series..

All the team you bet has to do is win one game in the series, if it's a 3 gm series you have three different chances to win the bet.. If its a 4 game series you will have 4 chances to win..


These teams play the same team 3-4 times in a row.. You look at the card and pick the team(s) you think will likely not get swept.


Lets use a mythical matchup

Dodgers vs Cardinals


And you like the Cardinals not to get swept.

Game 1: Cards -120
(Risk 1.20 to win 1.00)

If they win, its over and your up one unit, if they lose then you bet them again in game 2..

Game 2: Cards -140

Risk enough to win 2.20 units (the 1.2 you lost the day before and 1 unit)


And so forth..

Difference between this and the other system is its not limited to dogs.. Actually I recommend to chase with favorites instead..

I don't mean it as in limitations, I mean value streaks. Like you wouldn't want to be on a team who is 1-9 L10 vs a team who is 8-2L10. There are certain teams who play very very well in certain parks and I think there can be a lot of value if you bet like this.

3rd bet cards -110...risk 4.6 units(the 3.4 you're down and 1unit)

loser!!!!!!!

4th bet cards +100...9units (chasing 8 plus 1)

LOSER....minus 17units the first time you're wrong.

say you try this once every new series, gives you 54 chances a season.

you could go 51-3 and LOSE 3units at even money.

One thing I do is I stay away from 4 game series, other people like those I personally dont..

A lot of people tried this out on another forum on paper and showed an immense profit and that was on the first try..

This is not for everyone.. I suggest starting off slow and increasing units as the season goes along as you get a better feel for the teams..

If you keep picking teams who get swept then maybe baseball isn't for you..

I was up 27 units at one point last season, I did give a lot of it back but I do believe I learned from mistakes..

Why not give it a try for a few pennies and see how you do, or paper bet.
