Anyone get this email from EBAY?

I got an email from EBAY that says my debit card has been declined for my monthly fees....the fees are only like $4.....scam email?

Quite possibly.....just log into your ebay account & see what your balance is.

you should have your bank authorize all online purchases first with you. This guy at our work just got $400.00 in vaccums.

I get emails like that everyday! The worst are the ones taht say that they are from EBAY safe HARBOUR. They look EXACTLY the same as the normal emails!

I get tons of those phishing e-mails every day.

Tip: Hover over the link embedded in the scam e-mail, look on the status bar line of your browser and see what address it points to.

in cases like these.......simply delete the email and then login to your account at ebay.com and see for yourself the billing history etc.......you might also want to check your debit card statements online, perhaps the transaction went through and it has already been posted

In that case, I'd have to say that the email was legit, or your Ebay account has possibly been hacked. How else would they know what you owe?

Wolfie's advice is dead on also......I'd forward the email to ebay to find out if it's legit.
