We are done.....I spent a ton last year as a "surprise" to the Mrs and kids. And it was an epic waste of money as I whiffed on every single thing and we are talking a few gift cards even. I just got done with major neck surgery so have an excuse for not doing it again....so we are done. We might buy a monster TV for the living room, but will have to rip apart the built in cabinet and I am in no shape to do it. What did you buy Willie?
I go out on Christmas Eve. The traffic here around any mall or shopping is absurd. I go to Applebee's around 4 for happy hour and drink a few big beers to eliminate any indecisveness. Give myself about an hour before everything closes. All the stores look like a bomb went off but things are already marked down sometimes. Shot of brown booze in the coffee Christmas morning and wrap it all up. Much less stress for me doing it that way.
