Anyone ever use SquareTrade?

It's basically a place to buy a warranty/protection on electronics.

Thinking about insuring my new laptop. It's $159 for 3 years, including drops and spills.

Best Buy's was $139 for 1 year.

You would be surprised how much the general public is over-insured.

That includes paying collision coverage on a car that is owned outright.

I did and it was good. They don't cover theft, learned the hard way on another phone. May be better purchasing thru Amex or a CC that extends the warranty for you.

used my best buy card for 0% but youre right, I have a CC that does offer extended warranties and I never thought about it

I used a coupon code and got 40$ off! $119 for 3 years. That's awesome. Ill take that. I went to go get one for my ipad too. but it has to be within 30 days of purchase. But i like the reviews I've read. hopefully ill never have problems. but can't beat 40 bucks for a year.
