anyone ever put an AC in a 43 inch wide window?

I just bought a new AC - -but the side panels only fit up to a 36 inch wide window.
My window is 43 inches wide.
Any ideas??

I think they sell "filler kits" at home improvement stores.

How big of an AC did you get ?

i believe they sell extra panels at Home Depot ... Think it's a kit.

back in the day people would just put an extra wood frame around the window to make it fit

Yeah check Home Depot or Lowes, they should carry the kit
