I think if the job is in sales, it is all the 1099 "we will hire anyone" type of job where you are running all over town chasing "hot leads". I have looked before. If it is 100% commission 1099, and no interview required except a 5 minute deal to sell you to work for them, run.

I am doing interviews next week and will be using craigslist. Tried it 2 months ago and it kicked every other sources ass! Paid $900 for a paper add and got 4 calls. Paid $75 for 3 craigslist ads and got over 300 calls. They problem is that you have a lot of shit calling from craigslist.

Picked up a part-time job on there a few years ago.

You 'compete' against a bejillion people because everyone looks there. Also, the cost of a Craigs list ad is either 'free' or $25 depending on where you are, so often times the jobs are minimum wage, cheap labor.

A lot of BS insurance "make 6 figures" jobs on there too. Truthfully, a lot of BS jobs everywhere. At and t advertises everywhere for their kiosks and careerbuilder is crap anymore.
